I love stories that make audiences a part of their unfolding.

I was a Narrative Lead for the Omega Mart and Convergence Station projects. Click here for a listing of my contributions to these exhibits.
A selection of my screenwriting for the Omega Mart exhibit (packaged as Into the Source) was a finalist in the 2022 Las Vegas International Film Festival.

System: The Contribution is a sci-fi VR experience, created as part of the University of North Carolina School of the Art’s Immersive Storytelling Residency. I co-wrote and co-produced the piece, which had a showing at the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art in 2021.

Superfluxus is a point-and-click quest that fuses choose-your-own-adventure game mechanics, embedded video, text-based narration, escape room-style puzzling, and an engrossing story inspired by retro sci-fi tropes.
The piece—which I co-created with Seth Bockley—premiered online as part of the 2020 Pivot Arts Festival.

Combining video game with immersive performance, Intro to Being Here provides a transmedia experience of creating—and raising—a brand new being. Structured as a college course, audience members are first asked by their Professor to enter an alternate digital reality called The Platform – where they form a being, called a Content. Audience members meet their Content in the theater experience, which are played by actors (possibilities include Shark, Fire, and Empty Space). Through in-class exercises, they help their Content find their place in our reality.
Developed at The Cohen New Works Festival, Austin, TX, 2017; digital workshop produced by TigerBear Productions, 2021; developmental reading at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, 2022.

I created the concept and wrote performance text, in collaboration with Ink Tank, Dys/Mem, and Gwar. It was performed over Halloween weekend 2016 at The Museum of Human Achievement, and received an Austin Critics’ Table Award nomination.
