I’m Drew Paryzer. (Last name pronounced: puh-RYE-zurr)

I’m a playwright and author of interactive experiences.

My more ‘traditional’ theater work has been developed at places like the Roundabout Theatre, the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts, and the Playwrights’ Center.

My immersive/interactive writing experience includes work on Meow Wolf’s Omega Mart and Convergence Station exhibits, an Immersive Storytelling Residency at UNC School of the Arts, and hybrid theatrical experiences at Pivot Arts and The Museum of Human Achievement.

Companies such as Vox Media and Coca-Cola have hired me to generate concepts and write scripts across a variety of media — including videos, short-form articles, and branded experiences.

I’ve also taught dramatic writing at Emory University, The University of Texas at Austin, and the Playwrights’ Center — where I’m an Affiliated Writer.

I have a B.A. in Liberal Arts from Sarah Lawrence College and an M.F.A. in Playwriting from UT Austin.
